Wet naps

Wet naps or wet wipes are pre-moistened disposable cloths designed as a convenient way to clean your hands or skin when soap and water are unavailable. Often handed out in restaurants such as “crab houses”, bar-be-que / bbq joints or “wing joints” where the customer will eat with their hands and get really messy during the meal. These pre-moistened cloths also help the customer and save water by reducing the amount of times they would otherwise go to the restroom to wash their hands.

Baby wipes are sometimes used in place of wet naps for people who are traveling or otherwise planning to be on the move for an extended period of time.
